We will meet up in Helsinki on 12^th June and arrive in camp on 13^th June.  We will leave Russia on 28^th June.  This period of time encompasses ‘White Nights’ in the St Petersburg region – the major summer festival.  It is still light enough at midnight to read a book outside.  The

  kids stay up late, and there are usually a lot of celebrations with bonfires in the forest.  Thankfully, everyone gets up late in the mornings to compensate!
