Why go so far across the world to spend 2 weeks with some kids in the forest?  Because this is a great opportunity to share God’s love with kids who may not experience it in any other way.  Those in the team have simply heard God asking them to go, and want to share His love with others.  It is not an exercise in counting conversions.  To quote Juoko Varis, one of the founders of this outreach: “No one wants to be converted.  But if they see that you have something that will help them, they will convert themselves.”  We aim to live in camp in such a way that all will see that we do have something good and helpful that is worth having.
