Here are some images of the full moon taken with a ToUcam Pro 740 K using M42 (Pentax) lenses of differing focal length. The pictures are not meant to suggest anything about the quality of imaging with SLR lenses. They are raw frames with no processing applied at all. The images just give you an idea of the FOV that you can achieve. They are all taken on the same night.
NGC7000
(North America Nebula) Mosaic (2005-09-26)
This mosaic consists of 4 images each with 15 subframes exposed for 2 minutes.
The optics consists of a Nikon 135mm SLR lens attached (using a Mogg Nikon/M42 adapter) to a Starlight Xpress MX716. The filter used as an Astronomik Ha filter. The imaging rig was mounted on top of a Tasco 80mm f/5 telescope with a long-exposure Vesta webcam. The optics were mounted on a Meade LXD-55.
Guiding was managed by GuideDog. Image acquisition was done by Cartes du Ciel. Image capture was by AstroArt. Postprocessing was done by AstroArt, PaintShop Pro and AutoStitch. All telescope and camera control for acquisition, capture and guiding was operated remotely via a wireless LAN.
